The President-elect should select the Program Chair no later than January of the year proceeding the year which is to be planned. The President-elect should meet with the Program Chair along with the Continuing Education and Corporate Sponsor chairs in January of the same year to develop ideas for the upcoming year.

In October, the President-Elect chairs the Committee on Nominations. The other members of the Committee are the President and the immediate Past-President. This committee presents the slate of officers to the Board for Approval (do this at the November Board meeting). The slate is read at the January General Meeting. Nominations from the floor are in order at this meeting. A vote is also taken to close nominations. The actual vote on the slate of officers is at the February meeting.
