Dr. Nancy Villa, president of Middlesex County Dental Society (MCDS), attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School where she was active with the Fauchard Dental Society and president of Xi Psi Phi Fraternity. She graduated from dental school in 1989 and completed an orthodontic residency at Montefiore Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1991.
Dr. Villa has been active with the executive board of the MCDS since 1995 when she joined the Council on Membership, later serving as chair from 1991-2001. She became the program chair for MCDS in 1998 and has since held the positions of treasurer, vice president and president-elect. She was recently inducted into the International College of Dentists in San Francisco.
Dr. Villa and her husband, Dr. Cavan Brunsden, have a practice together in Old Bridge and live in Colts Neck, with Dr. Brunsden’s two children, Andrew and Jessica. |

Dr. Scott D. Galkin, membership council representative of the Middlesex County Dental Society (MCDS), attended UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School where he was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor fraternity. He graduated from dental school in 1999 and completed a post-graduate program in orthodontics at Columbia University in 2001. Dr. Galkin also received a BS in biology with highest honors from Rutgers University.
Dr. Galkin currently practices orthodontics in Woodbridge, NJ with his father, Dr. Samuel B. Galkin. He is an attending orthodontist at JFK Hospital in Edison and is also a member of the hospital’s Credentials and Medical Records committees. Dr. Galkin currently lives in South Amboy, NJ. |
